An appeal hearing for a 51-year-old Suffolk woman who has been banned from driving for 18 months after being found two times over the drink-driving limit will take place in January.
Nicola Charalambous, of Folly Road, Mildenhall appeared at Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 8 October, where she was found guilty of drink driving and driving without due care and attention.
She was charged with the offences after police were called to reports of a VW Polo car colliding with a garden fence and wall at around 6:30pm on May 19 2024 off Folly Road, Mildenhall.
Charalambous, who was driving the car, failed a roadside breath test and was found to have 80 micrograms per 100ml of breath (the legal limit is 35 micrograms).
She was arrested and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation C
