The NRD says the seedlings are ideal for windbreaks, wildlife habitat, and living snow fences for property owners. The seedlings are being sold through the Conservation Tree Program .

The seedlings cost $32 per bundle plus tax. A bundle contains 25 seedlings of the same species.

For a more diverse selection, the NRD also sells Small Acreage and Wildlife Packages, which both have five each of four different species (20 total), also for $32 per bundle.
