PRESQUE ISLE COUNTY, MI – A body was found washed up on the Lake Huron shoreline and police are asking for help in the case.
On Wednesday, Nov. 26, troopers from the Michigan State Police Alpena Post responded to a residence on Raven Drive in Ocqueoc Township after a report of a deceased male discovered on the shore, according to a news release.
Foul play is not suspected, police said.
The man was found wearing a back North Face jacket and blue jeans, police said. The preliminary investigation shows that he may have been deceased for three months to three years. The medical examiner’s investigation is ongoing.
MSP is asking the public for help in identifying the deceased. Anyone with information is asked to call the MSP Alpena Post at 989-354-4101.
