LOUISVILLE, Ky. — If you're looking to get out and enjoy the winter wonderland in Louisville, you're in luck!

Across the Metro, many residents woke up to find inches of snow blanketing the ground on Tuesday. Louisville even set a new snowfall record.

Louisville Parks and Recreation is inviting the community to grab their sleds and get out to enjoy the snow at any of the city's five designated sledding hills.

The hills are open during park hours between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. on days when snow accumulation reaches two to three inches.

"Park users are asked to avoid sledding when hills are closed or not properly covered with snow," Louisville Parks and Recreation said. "Sledding on slopes that lack appropriate snow depth will cause turf damage that must be repaired in the spring."
