THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WCTV) - Thomasville Humane is kicking off its holiday giving campaign and asking the community to help fill “Cousin Eddie’s RV” with much-needed supplies for homeless dogs and cats.
“We rely solely on donations from our community to keep everything up and running,” Saylor Spires, engagement director of Thomasville Humane, said.
Now through Jan. 5, the shelter is partnering with the Whiddon family in Thomasville to collect essential items for the animals in its care. The drop-off display at the family’s home is inspired by National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
The shelter cares for thousands of animals throughout the year, and Spires said community support is crucial.
