Emma Heming Willis is opening up about her decision to no longer live with her husband, Bruce Willis.
Bruce Willis, 70, has frontotemporal dementia and needs more care as the disease progresses.
"These are hard decisions. These are impossible — I’m getting choked up thinking about it. They’re impossible decisions. This is not how I envisioned our life," Emma Heming Willis said during the End Well 2025 conference in Los Angeles. "I had to make the best and safest decision for our family, and I knew by being honest and open about it that it would be met with a lot of judgment."
Willis said she originally was hesitant to announce that the couple would be living in separate homes, but understood it was a better decision for their family.
