Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders made his second career NFL start on Sunday, falling to the San Francisco 49ers with a 26-8 final score.
Sanders, the Browns' fifth-round rookie draft pick, completed 16 of his 25 pass attempts for 149 yards and one touchdown in the loss. The former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback is now 1-1 as an NFL starter following Week 12's 24-10 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
While the Browns were unable to notch their second victory with Sanders at the helm, head coach Kevin Stefanski is still encouraged by some things he's seen from the rookie signal caller.
