ANDOVER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) - The Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a dead body inside a home on Sunday.

Deputies located the home on Pine Street in Andover Township, and upon arrival they found a 76-year-old man dead inside.

The Ashtabula County Coroner’s Office was contacted and found that the man had been dead for a lengthy period of time.

According to a release from the sheriff’s office, an autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death. At this time there is no foul play suspected.

Deputies also discovered that the home may have been broken into detectives were able to determine that the man died before the thieves came into the house.
