Advocates, residents and church members gathered in Osborne Village on Friday to honour the life of 67-year-old Rosalie Tennison, who died after being struck by a motorist at a marked crosswalk last week.

The candlelight vigil, held Nov. 28 at the intersection of Roslyn Road and Osborne Street, was organized by safe-streets advocates alongside the Parish Church of Saint Luke and the Osborne Village BIZ. Participants marched to the crosswalk where Tennison was hit on Nov. 21 and displayed banners naming pedestrians killed by motorists and unsafe road design.
