Several projects in The Woodlands Township are underway or planned to begin in 2026, including upcoming work on a water fountain and completion of Fire Station No. 5. This list is not comprehensive.

Water fountain at Waterway Square Project: The Woodlands will renovate the water fountain at Waterway Square, Community Impact previously reported .

Update: The township is working with Halff Engineering on three options to present to the board of directors, which is anticipated to come before the board in the first quarter of 2026, said Chris Nunes, chief operating officer for The Woodlands Township.
