LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - The Nebraska Medical Cannabis Commission will hold its monthly meeting Tuesday.

As part of the 1 p.m. Monday meeting, members are set to host a listening session with manufacturers to help in finalizing its regulations.

In last month’s meeting, commissioners maintained their current regulations despite weeks of public criticism. Only two growing licenses have been approved out of four allowed statewide.

The growers each plan to cultivate up to 1,250 cannabis plants per harvest. Two other applicants fell short of the required score and appealed their rejections.
