After that, temperatures drop to frigid levels. Parents and guardians: Plan on bundling up your kids for the bus stop or walk to school on Thursday. A brief blast of Arctic air will result in low temperatures dropping between minus 5 and 10 degrees.
There won't be much wind, but even a light breeze will result in widespread wind chills below zero.
