Roxbury Man Had Child Porn On Phone: Prosecutor

A 36-year-old Rockaway Borough man was arrested and charged with possessing child pornography, authorities announced Monday, Dec. 1.

An investigation into Armando Nogueira began after a witness reported seeing media files, depicting the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors on his phone, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll, Morris County Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Rockaway Borough Police Chief Conrad Pepperman said.

Nogueira possessed numerous videos and images of child sexual abuse material on his phone, authorities said.

He is charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, possession of child sexual abuse material, authorities said.

Nogueira has been detained in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending future court proceedings, authorities said.
