WASHINGTON — As Thanksgiving leftovers begin to empty and silver and gold garland begins to layer balconies and awnings, the holidays are just weeks away. This also means the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is just days away.
The 103rd National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will start at 5:30 p.m. on the Ellipse at The White House and President’s Park on Thursday.
Performances will be led by Music Director Tariqh Akoni and the United States Navy Band Commodores.

Gabby Barrett
Jillian Cardarelli
Jon Pardi
Matthew West
The Beach Boys
Warren Zeiders
Gabby Barrett and Matthew West will be hosting the event. WUSA9's Annie Yu will be reporting on the tree lighting from the Ellipse.
