When the University of Nevada, Reno celebrates its August and December graduates on Saturday, the oldest to receive a degree is 76 and the youngest is 19.
Winter graduation ceremonies are at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Dec. 6 at Lawlor Events Center.
UNR will award 1,997 degrees to 1,900 students. Combined with spring commencement, a total of 4,801 students will be part of the university’s class of 2025.

Degrees awarded: 1,997 degrees and certificates, including 1,295 bachelor’s degrees, 670 advanced degrees (master’s and doctoral) and 32 certificates. Fifty-two students are graduating with two or more degrees.
