WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Snow showers are coming to an end this afternoon after many saw a couple of inches throughout the day.

We will remain dry overnight and most of the day on Wednesday before snow chances return Wednesday evening.

Lake effect snow showers will kick in overnight Wednesday into Thursday, which could be heavy at times. By early Thursday morning, the lake effect snow will be to our South with just a few scattered snow showers during the day Thursday.

Lake effect snow showers will shift back north Thursday evening and overnight before bitter cold move in by Friday morning.
