A California man who was recently shocked to find a 500-pound bear under his home is now struggling to evict the mammal from his property.
Kenneth Johnson told the Los Angeles Times and KTLA that he found signs of something living under his home last year, but didn’t know what it was.
To investigate, he installed a security camera, and in November, he saw footage of the giant bear sneaking into a crawl space. Speaking to the LA Times, Johnson, 63, joked that the bear must be a "contortionist" to explain how it squeezed itself into the small space.
"I don’t know how it got under there," he said. "This thing is so big its stomach touches the ground."
Johnson also told KTLA that the bear "looks like a monster" due to its eyes being "close together" and its "big (and) wide head."
