Atwater Village —Two men were found wounded, at least one of them fatally, at a wastewater reclamation plant in the north end of Atwater Village this morning.

Officers responded at about 5:55 a.m. Tuesday to the 4600 block of Colorado Boulevard, just east of the Golden State (5) Freeway, and found a man about 30 years old with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman said.

A second man about the same age was also found with a gunshot wound at the location, but his condition was not immediately available.

The Los Angeles-Glendale Water Reclamation Plant is jointly owned by the cities of Los Angeles and Glendale and treats about 20 million gallons of waste water every day, according to the L.A. Sanitation Department .
