Well, from what I can determine the cost-of-living increase for Social Security will amount to roughly $55 – with some getting more and others receiving less.
Although I'm always grateful for the raise, much of it will go back to Medicare .
That leaves me with $20.
So how do I stretch that $20 to cover Florida Power & Light's rate hike , gas prices, the cost of food – which is totally out of control – cellphone and internet services, property and auto insurance, taxes and other expenses?
Why is everyone being so greedy? Or is there a political motive behind the greed?
