Presenter Laura Woods collapsed while presenting ITV4's coverage of the Lionesses' match against Ghana on Tuesday night.

The former talkSPORT host was pulled off air and replaced by Katie Shanahan, who confirmed Woods had been taken ill.

Viewers were left concerned after the 38-year-old suddenly fell and was caught by pundits Ian Wright and Anita Asante during build-up to the game at St Mary's Stadium.

ITV quickly cut to a commercial break and upon the return of its coverage, Shanahan said: “As you have probably noticed we don’t have the wonderful Laura Woods because she’s just been taken ill.

"But she’s in very good hands so I’m stepping in at late notice."
