The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will temporarily close the Nina Lee Drive bridge over Crane Creek in Richland County for repairs beginning Dec. 8. The closure is expected to last until Dec. 18.

As part of the closure, a detour route will be set up using Wilson Boulevard and Hardscrabble Road. Nina Lee Drive will still be open to local traffic, except at the bridge site.

Drivers are advised to slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving near the work zone.
