CAMPBELL, Mo. (WSIL) -- A train derailed on Highway 62 West, about 3 miles west of Campbell in Dunklin County, on Tuesday morning, the Campbell Fire Department reported.
Fire officials informed the public just before 5 a.m. on December 2. Multiple trains were seen turned over on the ground and partially blocking the roadway.
Officials urged the public to find alternate routes as crews worked to clean up the scene. "This area will be a congested area for quite some time," fire officials said.
They advised residents to stay away to allow responders to do their job.
