A man was killed in a shooting early this morning in downtown Las Vegas, police said.
Metro Police were called to the 400 block of South 15th Street around 2:08 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting, police said this morning in a news release.
When officers arrived, they found a man with apparent gunshot wounds lying in the front yard of a house. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim's identity, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
Police have not released any information about possible suspects or what may have led to the shooting.
