ANN ARBOR, MI - University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital celebrated its holiday kickoff on Monday, Dec. 1, with a tree lighting ceremony, calendar signings and a visit from DTE Energy light trucks.

The festivities began Mott lobby, where patients and families were served snacks and hot beverages. Children featured in the 2026 Mott Children’s calendar signed copies for families and nursing teams.

DTE Energy light trucks were displayed in front of the hospital before moving across the street to the Ronald McDonald House Ann Arbor Chapter. The trucks played music and served hot cocoa while leading the “Little Victors Wave,” where attendees waved illuminated batons to children staying at the hospital.
