PORTLAND, Ore. — Mayor Keith Wilson announced Tuesday that he has nominated Raymond C. Lee to serve as Portland's next long-term city administrator following the retirement of current administrator Michael Jordan at the end of the year. Lee's appointment will need to be confirmed by a vote from the city council, which is planned for Dec. 10.
Lee, 41, has served as the city manager of Greeley, Colorado, since 2021 and was previously the director of public works in Amarillo, Texas, along with other leadership roles in Dallas. In Colorado he oversaw 1,600 employees serving 116,000 residents on a budget of $515 million, according to a news release from Wilson's office.
