It should come as no surprise, but the hits keep coming for Penn State’s 2026 recruiting cycle ahead of Wednesday’s national signing day. And James Franklin is the culprit once again.
Three-star offensive lineman Benjamin Eziuka flipped his commitment from the Nittany Lions to Virginia Tech on Tuesday . He had been pledged to Penn State since June 3.
The No. 41 interior offensive lineman in the 247Sports Composite , Eziuka stands 6-3 and 315 pounds. Virginia Tech was his only reported visit after Franklin was fired from Penn State on Oct. 12.
Eziuka hails from Detroit Catholic Central in Michigan.
Franklin also poached another former Penn State commit Tuesday in the form of four-star wide receiver Davion “FatRat” Brown . Brown decommitted from Penn State the day after Franklin
