SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A busy stretch of road in north Scottsdale is closed after a truck hit a residential yard, leaving three people hurt Tuesday morning.

Both directions of Cactus Road are closed after Scottsdale police and firefighters responded to 74th Street and Cactus Road around 11:30 a.m. for reports of a three-vehicle crash.

According to Scottsdale Fire Capt. Dave Folio, three people were hurt when a dump truck struck a wall. One victim needed to be pulled from the vehicle because the door was damaged, fire officials said.

Police haven’t said how badly injured the victims were, but at least one of them was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. All were said to be in stable condition, per fire crews.
