The Boston Red Sox made the first big move of their offseason by swinging a huge trade with the St. Louis Cardinals for Sonny Gray. Gray joins the rotation alongside a few solid arms, with Garrett Crochet sitting at the top.

But the Red Sox need to continue making moves during the winter months, or else they're at risk of missing the postseason next season. The biggest storyline of the Red Sox's offseason is Alex Bregman and his free agency.

Andrew Tredinnick of NorthJersey.com recently predicted Bregman would ditch the Red Sox and sign a deal with the Detroit Tigers instead. Jim Bowden of The Athletic recently projected Bregman would sign a massive $182 million deal this winter.
