David R. McKeown, a 47-year-old sixth-grade teacher from Holly Hill, was arrested for possessing child pornography and sexual activities involving animals on Friday, the Holly Hill Police Department said.

On Saturday morning, McKeown made his first appearance before a judge.

McKeown was arrested for 19 counts of possession of child pornography and six counts of sexual activities involving animals.

The judge set his bond at $50,000 per count, totaling $1,250,000.

During an investigation initiated by a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in early June, detectives executed search warrants at McKeown's residence and UBIC Academy, where McKeown is a sixth-grade teacher.
