Four-star tight end and Class of 2026 recruit JC Anderson has flipped his pledge from Ole Miss to LSU, Anderson announced on social media Tuesday.
Anderson attends Mt. Zion High in Illinois and is the No. 11 tight end in the nation and the No. 7 player in Illinois, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Anderson committed to Ole Miss in July, and his primary recruiter with the school was tight ends coach Joe Cox. But after Cox boarded a flight to Baton Rouge to join newly hired LSU coach and former Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin, Anderson decided to follow Cox and Kiffin to LSU.
Anderson is the lone tight end committed to LSU’s 2026 class. He’s also the Tigers’ only commit from the Midwest.
On offense, LSU has four wide receivers and three offensive linemen committed to its 2026 class,
