The Toronto Blue Jays really want to make the best they can out of this offseason. And every move they are making shows their commitment. They went out and got Dylan Cease; they are also in the chase for getting both Kyle Tucker and Bo Bichette. But we all know that getting both those players is almost impossible.
So the Blue Jays had another plan to go and get Ketel Marte. But it looks like that alternative won’t work.
In a recent piece by Bob Nightengale, he talked about how Ketel Marte has a lot of teams eying him. “They (Arizona Diamondbacks) have told anyone and everyone they are willing to listen to offers,” wrote Nightengale. “The Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, and Tampa Bay Rays, who have plenty of pitching, are all on the radar.”
