U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, is receiving endorsements from over 200 Borderland residents for his re-election campaign.

Cornyn faces a primary challenge from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and U.S. Rep. Wesley Hunt.

Cornyn, R-Texas , is currently running for re-election and is facing a tough primary battle against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and U.S. Rep. Wesley Hunt, R-Houston.

The leading contenders on the Democrats' side are former U.S. Rep. Colin Allred and state Rep. James Talarico , D-Austin, one of which will likely face off against the Republican primary winner next November.
