An 11-year-old boy is dead after a stabbing Tuesday in Elk Grove; his father then led officers on a short chase that ended in an officer-involved shooting near Lodi, authorities said. The father, later identified as 40-year-old Marvin Morales, was found by officers on southbound Interstate 5 near Pocket Road, then he allegedly led officers on a short chase that ended near I-5 and Highway 12, police said.
