Hulk Hogan’s widow has refuted claims from Ric Flair suggesting her husband died as a result of “street drugs.”

Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, passed away in July at the age of 71. A heart attack was cited as his official cause of death.

Flair, who worked with Hogan for several years, discussed the tragic passing on the ‘DOUBL3 COVERAGE’ podcast late last month, claiming he spoke with Hogan the day before he died and they had a conversation regarding his declining health.

The 76-year-old said that Hogan’s doctor stopped writing him prescriptions for pain medication to help him deal with the many injuries he suffered over the years, so he looked to alternative options.
