YORK, Maine — Police have arrested the owner of a local driving school in connection with an alleged assault involving a student driver.
Stephen Graziano, 63, a driving school instructor and owner of York Driving School LLC, was taken into custody on Nov. 26 on a warrant for charges of assault and disorderly conduct. York police did not release details of what occurred involving the student driver, but stated it took place in the spring of 2025.
Lt. Nikolaos Piskopanis wrote in a press release that police conducted a thorough investigation upon receiving a report of the alleged assault and found probable cause. Graziano was bailed and released following his arrest.
