CLEVELAND — Legendary Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar says he is heading home from University Hospitals Tuesday after being readmitted following his liver transplant last month.
"What a long, strange road it's been that we're on," the 62-year-old said in a video posted to his social media platforms. "Absolutely fired up to stay on that road with you. 'U Matter' and let's keep that winning day continuing as we touch all the people, families and communities in a positively genuine way."
Nearly two weeks after having liver transplant surgery , Kosar announced Sunday that he had checked back into the hospital.
Kosar posted the update on his social media pages Sunday morning, saying in a video that he is "trying to stay positive but obviously a little bummed."
