SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) is set to break ground on its new $73.4 million aerospace facility in Shelbyville.

MTSU and local officials will gather to break ground on the new state-of-the-art facility on Wednesday morning.

The university said this move marks a major step forward for one of the country’s top aerospace and aviation programs.
