UK sports presenter Laura Woods collapsed on live TV during coverage of an England women’s soccer game this evening.

Woods fell to the side and had to be held up by pundits including former Arsenal and England striker Ian Wright at which point broadcaster ITV cut away from the live feed.

When the coverage returned, colleague Katie Shanahan had taken over as presenter and confirmed Woods had been “taken ill”, but added that she was “in very good hands”.

Woods’ fiancé, reality TV personality Adam Collard, later issued an update on the presenter’s condition on social media.

“Laura is all OK and with the right people. Thank you for all of your kind messages,” he wrote.

Woods is a regular presence across men’s and women’s football on ITV and TNT Sports. She also worked as a radio present
