In this installment of his Looking Back video series, Chris Pietsch visits locations that can be seen in some of the most famous movies filmed in the southern Willamette Valley.
Five years before he starred in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," Jack Nicholson played Bobby Dupea in "Five Easy Pieces." The movie, which was nominated for five Academy Awards and has been inducted into the National Film Registry at the Library of Congress, was partially filmed in Lane County.
Another movie almost everyone has seen, "Stand By Me," was filmed in part in Brownsville, and Eugene's relationship to "Animal House" is legendary.
Join Pietsch in Looking Back at these well known films.
