Cash, drugs and a zombie knife were found during a raid on a property in Kirkdale . Officers were on plain clothes patrol yesterday, Monday, December 1, when they spotted a woman 'acting suspiciously'.

Following a search of the woman, officers found a quantity of suspected cocaine and heroin. A search of her home led to the seizure of a zombie knife, cannabis, cash and drug supply paraphernalia. A 44-year-old woman from West Derby was arrested on suspicion of class A drugs with intent to supply, possession of a controlled drug, possession of criminal property and possession of an offensive weapon in a private dwelling.

She was taken to a police station in Merseyside for questioning and has been released pending further investigation.
