Pop star Sabrina Carpenter slammed President Donald Trump’s administration on Tuesday for using one of her hit songs to promote deportation raids.
The White House posted a video on Monday with Carpenter’s popular song, “Juno,” playing in the background as the footage showed law enforcement agents tackling people and arresting them. Some people in the video were holding anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) signs.
“Have you ever tried this one? Bye-bye,” the White House wrote on X, referencing Carpenter’s lyrics from her hit song, “Juno.”
Carpenter responded to the video on X and demanded that the White House stop using her music.
“this video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda,” Carpenter wrote Tuesday on X.
