BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Though she was born halfway through President Barack Obama’s term in the White House, Jessica Bowser, 12, said getting to listen to him speak Monday at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art was important to her.

“I loved getting to hear his story and about why hope is so important to him,” Bowser said. “Everything he said was inspiring and everything I heard, I loved it so much.” ×
