CODINGTON COUNTY, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - A California man is dead after a two-vehicle crash early this morning in Watertown, SD.

Preliminary crash information indicates that a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 was traveling west on 20 th Avenue SE when it crossed into the eastbound lane and collided with an eastbound Peterbilt semi.

The driver of the Ram died at the scene.

The driver of the Peterbilt was not injured.

The names of the persons involved have not been released pending notification of family members.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
