For George Clooney , the idea of stepping back from the screen isn't up in the air.

Indeed, he's settled on the fact that he never plans to stop acting.

"If you give up working," George shared in an interview with USA Today published Dec. 2, "You lose your place in society."

The way the 64-year-old sees it, regardless of his age, there will always be a place for him. "There's going to be parts for 'Grandpa gums bread' and I'll be the perfect guy for it,” he quipped. “That's a good thing about the profession that I've chosen."

And while there's truth to his jokes, George, who is dad to 8-year-old twins Ella and Alexander with Amal Clooney , also credits his dad Nick Clooney for inspiring him to never give up on his creative passions.
