QUEENS — THREE NYC CASINO PROPOSALS — two in Queens and one in the Bronx — were approved by the state’s Gaming Facilities Location Board on Monday, AP reports. These include Mets owner Steve Cohen’s $8 billion Metropolitan Park project in Queens, backed by Hard Rock and sited next to Citi Field. President Donald Trump could receive $115 million associated with Bally’s $4 billion casino plan at the Ferry Point golf course in the Bronx. In addition, Resorts World proposes investing more than $5 billion to expand its current slots emporium into a full casino at Aqueduct Race Track in Queens, with hotel, dining and entertainment. The final decision now rests with the State Gaming Commission, expected by year’s end.
