Satellite High School was on lockdown Tuesday afternoon after school officials said a threat was called into the front office.

Chopper 2 was over the school at 3:35 p.m. when lockdown was lifted and students were being let out.

Nearby DeLaura Middle School was also on lockdown, and Holland Elementary was in a shelter-in-place.

Brevard County Schools said law enforcement determined it was a swatting call.

"The same call was made to another school in a different state today from the same out of state phone number," a spokesperson for the district said. "Our priority remains the safety and well being of every student and staff member. We thank our families, staff, and law enforcement for their support."
