A Carthage man was sentenced Tuesday to 20 years in prison after having entered a guilty plea to felony statutory rape in the first degree, according to a statement from Jasper County Prosecutor Theresa Kenney.

Oscar Ramos-Vicente, 52, also will be required to register as a sex offender. ×
