MASON, Ohio —
A restaurant in Mason, Ohio is closing its doors after more than a decade of business, citing rent hikes.

Lucky Dog Grille announced to their social media pages that their last day of business will be Christmas Eve.
The owners said it comes after months of negotiations over a significant rent increase, one they said was far beyond what they could maintain.
"For the past six months, we’ve been trying to work out a fair rent agreement with our landlord, but we haven’t been able to reach a resolution. With rent and overall costs rising across the board, we’ve made the tough decision to close the restaurant," the owners said in the post to their social media pages.
