Millar has played a pivotal role in shaping Sweeney’s ascent from breakout performances in Euphoria and The White Lotus , through multiple Emmy nominations and leading roles in studio hits like Anyone But You . She has subsequently helped guide Sweeney into more character-driven territory with HBO’s Reality and Black Bear’s Christy , a drama where she plays former professional boxer Christy Martin, for which she’s garnered critical acclaim.
