PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - Methodist College said Tuesday it is announcing the development of a Certified Register Nurse Anesthetist program, with plans to start in 2027.
According to Carle Health, CRNA’s are highly trained clinicians who specialize in giving anesthesia and providing care before, during, and after various types of medical procedures.
Carle Health added that this is particularly important in rural and underserved areas where access to anesthesiologists maybe limited, CRNA’s ensure patients receive vital care safely and with minimal discomfort.
